ICX-ZERO BONE LOSS® CONCEPT – EFFICIENT BONE PRESERVATION BASED ON PROVEN SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLES

The ICX-Zero Bone Loss® concept from medentis medical was developed to improve the preserva tion of bone after implant placement and is based on established scientific concepts. These concepts have been proven in numerous independent studies and publications, including the work of Dr. Tomas Linkevičius. Dr. Linkevičius has shown in several studies, books and scientific articles how the loss of bone substance around implants can be sustainably prevented. and future-ready treatment solutions.

Although we did not work directly with Dr. Linkevičius, our developments are based on the scientific fin dings presented in his book Zero “Bone Loss Concepts” (2019) and his publications in respected journals such as “The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants (Linkevičius et al., 2013) and Clinical Oral Implants Research (Linkevičius et al., 2016). In these papers, he describes in detail how subcrestal implant placement and consideration of soft tissue thicknesses have a significant influence on the pre servation of bone*

Our ICX-Zero Bone Loss® augmentation concept was developed according to these principles and offers you three basic forms:

  • anteriors – for aesthetically demanding areas
  • premolar – for the middle section
  • molar – for the back teeth

THE NEW ICX GOLD STANDARD FOR PERI-IMPLANT BONE MAINTENANCE

THE STUDIES* BY DR. LINKEVIČIUS SHOW:

  • customization to gingival heights: The various structures allow for precise adaptation to the soft tissue, which supports bone preservation. These findings are based on studies published in “The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants” (2013) (Linkevičius et al., 2013).
  • long-term stability: The system ensures long-term results through a combination of surgical and prosthetic factors, which were described in detail in “Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research” (2015) (Linkevičius et al., 2015).

Our brochure provides all the information about the ICX-Zero Bone Loss® concept. It describes the basic forms, different gingival heights and provides clinical tips for use. In addition, we refer to independent scientific sources that serve as the basis for our system, including Dr. Linkevičius‘ book “Zero Bone Loss Concepts” (2019) and his studies, which are internationally recognized

With the ICX-Zero Bone Loss® concept, we offer you a concept that is based on scientifically sound solutions that are easy to implement in practice and will help you secure patients in the long term

Another advantage of the Dr. Linkevičius concept is reduced peri-implant bone resorption, which is achieved by implementing coordinated products and the scanning capability of the gingiva formers.

ICX Zero Bone Loss® provides specially designed gingiva formers for different tooth regions, ensuring ideal soft tissue support and natural emergence profile.

  • The ICX-Zero Bone Loss® gingiva formers are scannable.
  • They are recognizable by oral scanners and dental scanners.
  • The calculated STL data reflects the shape and height.
  • Exocad offers a database with all heights, diameters, for adhesive bases in a wide range of heights. (For information, see pages 26/27)
